Program Manager – Business Transformation | Financial Services – Brussels
A financial services client in Brussels is seeking a Program Manager to lead a series of high-impact business transformation initiatives. This is a long-term freelance mission with significant exposure at SteerCo and board level.
The organisation is onboarding several new suppliers while rolling out a portfolio of transformation projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, scalability, and service delivery. They require an experienced business-side program lead to structure and execute these efforts in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners.
This role requires someone with a strong understanding of business processes, ideally with payments domain expertise, and the ability to drive programs hands-on from concept to execution.
Role:
* Design, plan, and lead complex business transformation programs
* Coordinate across multiple internal teams and external suppliers
* Prepare and facilitate governance (SteerCo, board-level reporting, program updates)
* Sit with business stakeholders to gather input, document requirements, and define deliverables
* Produce clear documentation and communication materials for all levels of the organisation
* Manage program risks, dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of milestones
* Align supplier onboarding and transformation initiatives with strategic goals
* Act as a key subject matter expert in financial services and payments flows
Requirements:
* 8+ years’ experience managing large-scale business transformation programs
* Background in financial services is required; experience in the payments sector is a strong plus
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (up to executive/board level)
* Hands-on profile – comfortable documenting, producing materials, and working in the detail
* English fluency required; Dutch or French is a strong plus

ONSITE POLICY: Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)
HOURS PER WEEK: 40
