Sales Assistant

To reinforce our Sales team we are looking for a Sales Assistant.

As Sales Assistant, you will be the backbone of our commercial team, ensuring smooth operations and accurate information flow.
By managing product data, supporting administrative processes, and coordinating with customers, you will help us reach our sales targets and drive overall business growth.
This role is a vital link between our commercial team, customers, and internal departments—your accuracy, efficiency, and proactive approach will directly contribute to our success.
Main Tasks
1. Keep customer records accurate and up to date in our SAP systems.
2. Coordinate new product launches with customers, ensuring required data is properly managed in their systems.
3. Oversee the product life cycle, monitor inventory, and provide reliable sales reporting.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers: handle tender documents, communicate product changes and availability, follow up on promotions, and manage price updates.
5. Work with product and quality managers to resolve customer complaints.
6. Update and monitor contractual documents and customer statistics.
Requirements
7. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in both branded and private label environments.
8. Fluency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
9. Strong IT skills, with excellent command of MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP.
10. A process-driven, analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
11. Excellent organizational skills and efficiency in daily work.
12. Ability to work independently, combined with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
