Our client, a major player in the utility sector, is seeking a specialist to drive the expansion of their central 360° application for digital meter data management. The project involves evolving a data-heavy dashboard into a high-performance operational hub, requiring expert-level architectural oversight and structural UI professionalization.
Responsibilities
* Perform a comprehensive audit of the current frontend quality, architecture, and UX consistency to identify optimization points.
* Define and implement a strategic refactoring roadmap to enhance application performance and maintainability.
* Drive the structural expansion of the user interface using modern design systems and component libraries.
* Establish and manage a robust release process, including branch management and controlled merges to main.
* Coordinate closely with backend teams to ensure API compatibility and manage breaking changes during releases.
* Provide technical leadership and coaching to other developers to foster best practices and technical growth.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
* 5+ years of experience with HTML and CSS.
* 3+ years of experience with Git version control and release management workflows.
* 3+ years of experience with JSON and REST API integrations.
* 3+ years of experience in coaching and mentoring other developers within a team.
* Proven experience working with design systems and component libraries.
* Higher education degree (Bachelor or Master) in a technical or engineering field.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* You are fluent in Dutch with a minimum level of C2.
Nice to Haves
* Experience with automated testing using Selenium or other unit and E2E testing frameworks.
* Familiarity with design tools such as Figma.
* Experience with .NET based applications and database knowledge of SQL or PostgreSQL.
* Working experience in an Agile or Scrum environment.
* Experience within the Belgian energy sector.
