Job Description
The Global Sales Manager – Heavy Duty (HD) is responsible for defining and executing the global business strategy for the HD segment. This includes developing strategic programs, engaging in direct business development with key OEM and European accounts, and supporting local sales teams to convert HD distributors and fleets. The role acts as a crucial link between sales, marketing, and product development, ensuring alignment and growth in the HD segment worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop Heavy Duty programs and define the global strategy for the HD segment (on- and off-road).
* Contribute strategically to the HD Marketing Manager and Product teams by providing market intelligence and segment insights.
* Monitor global market trends and competitor positioning to identify growth opportunities.
* Lead business development initiatives focused on OEM off-road service fill programs and European key accounts across sectors.
* Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, OEMs, and key decision-makers within the HD ecosystem.
* Support global sales efforts by providing expertise, coaching, and technical support to convert opportunities and close complex sales.
* Ensure consistent messaging, tools, and strategic alignment across markets.
* Maintain strong knowledge of Heavy Duty markets, customer segments, and industry challenges.
* Demonstrate proven experience in the lubricants industry, with a focus on global or regional sales roles.
* Possess international sales experience with cultural sensitivity and influence in a matrix environment.
* Leverage a strong network within OEM off-road and IAM distribution channels.
* Communicate fluently in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Work effectively across functions, influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
* Combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, demonstrating a proactive, go-getter attitude.
