The Associate Sample Coordinator performs duties and training to acquire the skills required for sample and standard handling in support of the laboratory. Provides support to Sample Coordinator and performs administrative tasks in the Sample Management department. Follows SOPs, applicable client procedures, and fulfills laboratory requests with modest direct supervision. We have successfully supported the top 50 pharmaceutical companies and more than 750 biotech's, spanning 2,700 clinical trials across 100 countries in the last 5 years. What You'll Do: • Perform a variety of simple inventory tracking procedures (receipt, check-in, login, labeling, inventory, transport, check-out, etc.) and administrative tasks in support of laboratory operations. • Communicate the status of tasks to the supervisor and/or appropriate laboratory staff. • Train on SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and storage requirements. • Support responses to environmental unit alarms and participate in on-call responsibilities as needed. • Perform daily work assignments accurately, on time, and in a safe manner. Education and Experience Requirements: • High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • Technical positions may require a certificate • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 1 year) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience. Years of experience refers to typical years of related experience needed to gain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.
