Here Is What This Opportunity Entails
Strategic Leadership & Market Expertise
* Serve as the primary energy expert for internal and external stakeholders across assigned markets.
* Monitor energy market regulations and policy developments and translate their impact on leases, agreements, and asset operations.
* Assess the relevance and feasibility of on-site and off-site energy schemes for Goodman assets (e.g., solar PV, storage, grid services).
* Define and standardize energy procurement strategies for Goodman assets, including both energy off‑take and energy injection.
* Develop and implement pricing strategies for Goodman’s energy‑related products across relevant markets.
Business Development & Customer Engagement
* Engage proactively with customers, partners, and third parties to develop and offer energy‑related products such as Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure (EVCI).
* Build and maintain strong relationships with Goodman’s customers, prospects, and suppliers.
* Lead tender processes and secure subsidies for photovoltaic (PV) installations in coordination with internal stakeholders.
* Support the design and execution of commercial campaigns to promote Goodman’s energy solutions and services.
Contract Management & Execution
* Act as the end‑to‑end owner of energy contracts, including negotiation, execution, monitoring, and renegotiation with suppliers and customers.
* Negotiate commercial and contractual terms within established company guidelines.
* Conduct supplier and customer due diligence, including credit checks, KYC verification, and reference checks.
* Prepare, review, and execute energy‑related agreements and contracts.
Do you recognize yourself?
* > 5 yrs. of industry experience in a trading, origination, sales, energy management.
* Experience in the energy market, with a deep understanding of energy pricing, market dynamics and regulations, and understanding of different structures of energy contracts, when they are applied and how they are negotiated.
* Proven track record of successful energy procurement and negotiating buyer and seller side. Good understanding of PPA’s is a plus.
* Ability to structure, negotiate and execute deals with commercial approach.
* Project and process management skills with experience collaborating on simultaneous projects.
* Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
* Proficiency in data analysis and modelling tools (e.g., Python) is considered a strong advantage to support energy market analysis and strategic decision‑making.
* Demonstrated interest in conducting analyses across diverse energy topics, including areas such as Energy Management Systems (EMS) and other emerging energy solutions.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with energy providers and clients.
* A collaborative and team‑oriented mindset, thriving in an environment where collective leadership and individual accountability drive success.
* Business fluency in English and Dutch.
