We are seeking a Technical Lead / Full Stack .NET Developer (Freelance) for a 12-month project in Brussels. Join our client's agile team to drive the development of next-generation web applications and shape the digital landscape for thousands of users.

What You'll Be Doing
* Lead and mentor an agile development team focused on building and maintaining modern web applications using C# and the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
* Design, architect, and implement scalable backend services and RESTful APIs (ASP.NET Web API, WCF).
* Drive integration architecture and messaging solutions (NServiceBus, etc.).
* Utilize Object Relational Mappers (NHibernate, Entity Framework), T-SQL, and ElasticSearch for robust data management.
* Develop rich, responsive frontends using JavaScript frameworks (Angular 2+, React), TypeScript, and CSS/SASS.
* Oversee the frontend build pipeline and NPM ecosystem for efficient delivery.
* Champion Object Orientation and SOLID principles throughout the codebase.
* Implement secure web building blocks: HTTP(S), OAUTH2, API management.
* Ensure high code quality through unit and acceptance testing.
* Promote and implement Continuous Delivery practices using Git and DevOps methodologies.
* Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.
* Coach and support technical designers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
* Demonstrable experience as a technical lead, driving all technical aspects of complex projects (minimum 8 years in .NET development, 5 years in technical leadership).
* Proven expertise in C#, .NET Framework 4.5+ (or higher), ASP.NET Web API, and Angular (1/2+).
* Hands-on experience with integration architecture, messaging (NServiceBus), and ORM tools (NHibernate, Entity Framework).
* Strong frontend development skills with Angular 2+, React, TypeScript, CSS/SASS, and modern build pipelines.
* Deep understanding of Object Orientation, SOLID principles, and secure web protocols (HTTP(S), OAUTH2, API management).
* Track record of delivering high-quality code with unit and acceptance testing.
* Experience designing and building user interfaces with a focus on UX.
* Demonstrable knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with the ability to introduce and lead these practices in development teams.
* Experience in creating technical designs and managing/coaching technical designers.
* Ability to execute programming assignments efficiently: coding, testing, debugging.
* Ownership mindset, problem-solving drive, and a passion for impact.
