1. POSITION SUMMARY

The Junior Product Manager EMEA – Surgical Solutions is an execution‑focused product marketing role supporting the Surgical Solutions portfolio across the EMEA region. The role is responsible for new product launch execution, go‑to‑market activations, sales enablement, and commercial analytics, ensuring strong operational delivery and high‑quality business case inputs.

Working in close partnership with the EMEA Marketing Manager – Surgical Solutions & CPT, the role contributes market sizing, business case preparation, performance analysis, and execution follow‑through, enabling the Marketing Manager to focus on portfolio strategy, product development, and strategic partnerships.


2. JOB FUNCTIONS

Go‑to‑Market & Launch Execution

* Execute approved go‑to‑market plans (4Ps) for Surgical Solutions products in EMEA.
* Plan, coordinate, and track new product launches (NPLs), ensuring full launch readiness across sales tools, training materials, documentation, and internal alignment.
* Drive day‑to‑day cross‑functional execution with Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Communication/Marcom, and Demand Planning teams.
* Lead post‑launch reviews, consolidating sales results, market feedback, and customer input to identify execution improvements and lessons learned.
* Provide demand forecast inputs for NPIs in collaboration with Demand Planning.


Business Cases, Analytics & Market Sizing

* Prepare and consolidate business case (BFC) inputs for new product launches, range extensions, and portfolio changes, including assumptions, scenarios, risks, and sensitivities.
* Conduct market sizing and opportunity assessments (TAM / SAM / SOM) by country, segment, and application.
* Analyze sales performance, adoption curves, pricing bands, and margin indicators to support data‑driven portfolio and launch decisions.
* Track launch and portfolio KPIs, producing dashboards, analytical summaries, and clear recommendations for internal reviews.


Product & Portfolio Execution Support

* Support product positioning and segmentation by market, application, and customer type.
* Maintain portfolio tools supporting product life‑cycle management, including phase‑in / phase‑out activities.
* Support distributor and channel performance reviews by consolidating quantitative insights and execution feedback.


Market, Customer & Competitive Insights

* Conduct market and customer research (VOC, field feedback, distributor input) to identify trends, unmet needs, and execution opportunities.
* Maintain competitive intelligence tracking competitor products, claims, launches, and pricing signals.
* Structure and synthesize customer and field insights to support product improvements, value proposition refinement, and launch optimization.


Sales Enablement & Tender Support

* Develop and maintain sales tools, training decks, and product presentations for the Surgical Solutions portfolio.
* Support internal sales training sessions, including preparation of content and materials.
* Own TDS creation, updates, and communication, including Showpad uploads and maintenance.
* Support tender requests (direct and indirect) by providing technical documentation, product data, and analytical inputs.


Regulatory, Claims & Compliance Support

* Support claims generation and validation, including ETQ approvals, in collaboration with Quality and Regulatory teams.
* Ensure all marketing materials and product documentation comply with MDR and EMEA regulatory requirements.


Budget & Operational Support

* Manage PO creation related to samples, market research, analytics, and product launch execution activities.
* Track spend versus allocated execution budgets and proactively flag risks or deviations.


Cross‑Functional Collaboration

* Act as a day‑to‑day execution and analytics partner for internal stakeholders involved in Surgical Solutions initiatives.
* Ensure on‑time delivery of launch, activation, and business‑case milestones through clear coordination and communication.


3. KEY RELATIONSHIPS

* Internal: EMEA Marketing Team, Sales, Regulatory & Quality, Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Global Marketing & R&D, Communication/Marcom.
* External: Execution‑focused interaction with distributors and customers for feedback, VOC, and launch support (no strategic partnership ownership).


4. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Bachelor’s degree in Science, Marketing, Business Management, or related field.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare or product marketing, ideally within Surgical Solutions, medical devices, or Operating Room environments.
* We also strongly welcome candidates with a nursing or clinical background (e.g. OR, CSSD, Infection Prevention) who are motivated to transition into a product marketing role and leverage their clinical expertise in a commercial and strategic context.
* Demonstrated experience supporting product launches and marketing execution.


5. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

* Strong hands on execution capability with high attention to detail.
* Solid analytical skills and ability to translate insights into practical actions.
* Strong collaboration and communication skills in a cross functional, international environment.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced, regulated setting.
* Fluent in English; an additional European language (Dutch, French, or German) is an asset.
* Willingness to travel within Europe (up to 30%).
