We’re GemOne, a daughter company of TVH and a start-up global tech company with offices all over the world: from Belgium to the USA; and from Asia to Australia. We work in the field of telematics. Tele-what-ics??! Yes, we’re fully aware that telematics isn’t something most people know a lot about but no worries. We co-create cloud-based solutions and the necessary hardware components to gather data from industrial equipment, which our customers then use to streamline their industrial fleet management. In a nutshell, we make technology that helps companies look after their industrial machinery and business better — we enable them to work safer and more efficiently, and save time and money.

Your role and responsibilities


Right now we’re looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our amazing team in Kortrijk. This role plays an integral function in all internal and external customer support needs in the pre-sale, sale and post-sale customer life cycle.

What else does it involve?

1. Provide first line assistance in handling customer support tickets related to installation, software as well as non-technical issues.

2. Facilitate onsite installation training of telematics devices.

3. Assist & train dealers or end-users in the installation of telematics solutions on both electrical & diesel powered equipment

4. Help customers achieve their telematics technical objectives by delivering timely technical guidance, enablement, and best practices materials.

5. Be the technical voice of the customer when engaging with internal teams.

6. Lead all technical deliverables for assigned projects.

7. Assist with all (non-)warranty related product returns and credits.

8. Assist in continuous process improvements & platform implementation projects in order to contribute to the overall customer satisfaction.

9. Assist in creating a culture of cross-functional collaboration

How to succeed

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

10. 2+ years’ experience in Technical Service roles.

11. Willing to travel on a regular basis (50%) in Europe (mostly Spain and Portugal).

12. Excellent communication and organizational skills, eager to learn.

13. A flexible attitude, but you are also a self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision by consistently taking the initiative to get things done.

14. You are able to work with diverse teams

15. Fluent in English and Spanish. Any other language is a plus (Portuguese and French).

16. Strong analytical skills, result oriented and a sense of responsibility.

17. A problem solving attitude and aptitude.

18. Affinity with technology/software.
