Our client is looking for an experience Systems Administrator with a strong experience and focus on automation and DevOps practices.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days working remotely and 3 days on site in central Brussels.
Please note that due to nature of the role, candidates need to be eligible for EU Secret clearance.
This is a 12 months contract/freelance position with strong possibility of yearly extensions.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and support complex enterprise infrastructures, using ServiceNow daily to handle incidents, service requests, and change activities.
* The consultant needs to maintain virtualized environments based on VMware ), Hyper-V, and Nutanix/RESCOM ( for the restricted environment), ensuring stability, performance, and security, especially where highly confidential data was involved.
* Windows Server (2016–2022) administration, File Server roles, Active Directory, GPO and AGMP with a strong security focus, and Red Hat Linux environments, with particular emphasis on Red Hat Satellite. Monitor systems using SolarWinds and supported the ongoing migration to Dynatrace.
* A significant part of the work involves automation and patching. The consultant should design and maintain scripting solutions using PowerShell and PowerShell Universal, and leverage Ansible for automation tasks, particularly around Red Hat Satellite. I coordinate patch cycles using SCCM for Windows environments.
* The candidate will work closely with DevOps teams, contributing to projects within the SCRUM framework, constantly looking for opportunities to automate, optimize, and improve operational processes with Powershell.
