Are you commercially driven, culturally curious, and eager to be the bridge between Europe and China? Then this role is for you! At Aprojects we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales – China Desk colleague to develop and grow our business with Chinese clients, partners, and shippers. Think wind turbines, train units, or entire production lines moving between China and the rest of the world – no two days are the same!

Aprojects is an international specialist in project logistics with 30 offices worldwide and our own warehouses in the port of Antwerp. With a strong presence in China and a growing portfolio of Chinese clients, our China Desk plays a key role in connecting our global network. Here, you’ll get the chance to work on unique projects within a dynamic and multicultural team.


Your Role as Sales – Asia Desk

As Sales – China Desk you will be the commercial point of contact for Chinese clients and partners operating in or with Europe, and you will support our European clients with their China-related project flows. You combine commercial drive with strong cultural awareness, building lasting relationships on both sides.


What will you do?

* Develop and grow business with Chinese clients and partners
* Maintaining and expanding long-term relationships with key customers in China
* Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
* Act as the commercial liaison between our offices in China and our team in Antwerp
* Identify new business opportunities in the China–Europe trade lane
* Prepare, negotiate, and follow up on quotations, tenders, and pricing requests
* Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key accounts
* Coordinate closely with operations to ensure smooth project execution
* Represent Aprojects at trade fairs, client visits, and networking events in Belgium, and travel to China a few times per year
* Keep commercial data, pipeline, and customer information up to date in our CRM


What do you bring?

* Experience in a commercial sales role, ideally in logistics, freight forwarding, or project cargo
* Strong affinity with the Chinese market and Chinese business culture
* Fluent communication in Mandarin Chinese and English; Dutch is a strong asset
* Existing network in China or within the China–Europe trade lane is a plus
* Commercial drive, hunter mentality, and a customer-focused mindset
* Cultural sensitivity, diplomacy, and the ability to build trust on both sides
* Structured way of working and a true team player
* Willingness to travel to China a few times per year
