ob Title: Quality Lead – Hyperscale Data Center
Location: Farciennes, Belgium
Salary: €160,000 – €185,000
+ 1 Return Flight per Month
Our client is a global cost management and cost consultancy with a strong track record in delivering complex, large-scale projects across Europe. They are currently delivering a Hyperscale Data Center project in Belgium and are seeking an experienced Quality Lead/ Quality Manager to oversee and drive quality assurance and compliance across all phases of delivery.
The Role
The Quality Lead will take full responsibility for ensuring that the project meets the highest quality standards across all disciplines. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the quality strategy on site, ensuring compliance with client requirements, project specifications, and industry standards. This is a key leadership position within the project team, with responsibility for embedding a culture of quality throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the quality function on a major Hyperscale Data Center project in Belgium
* Develop, implement, and maintain the project Quality Management System (QMS)
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory, client, and contractual requirements
* Carry out regular site audits, inspections, and reporting to identify non-conformances and drive corrective actions
* Interface with the client and third parties on quality-related matters
* Train, mentor, and support project staff to ensure best practices in quality assurance
* Provide leadership in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless quality processes are in place
* Contribute to business strategy by aligning team objectives, vendor management strategies, and quality assurance with overall project delivery goals
Requirements
* Extensive experience as a Quality Lead / Quality Manager on Hyperscale Data Centers or other mission critical projects (pharmaceutical, semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing)
* 20+ years' experience in data center construction/project management with increasing levels of leadership and people management responsibility
* Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and international standards (ISO, EN, etc.)
* Degree or comparable qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Construction
* Management, Quantity Surveying, or another construction-related discipline
* Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and develop staff across international project teams
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and colleagues through a collaborative and open style
* A proven record of driving continuous improvement and embedding a culture of quality across large, complex projects
Package:
* Salary circa €160,000 – €180,000 depending on experience
* 1 return flight per month
