We are looking for a Mechanical Development Engineer Consultant to support the development of innovative drivetrain solutions, hybrid transmissions, and Electric Drive Units (EDU).
Responsibilities
* Develop mechanical components and subsystems from concept to product launch.
* Prepare and review technical requirements.
* Support development activities through calculations, simulations, and testing
* Contribute to DFMEA and risk assessment activities.
* Participate in design for manufacturing and design for assembly discussions.
* Work closely with suppliers and component manufacturers during development
* Support validation activities, data analysis, and test reporting
* Collaborate with quality, industrialization, and purchasing teams.
* Resolve technical issues during development and testing.
* Manage engineering changes and technical updates.
* Prepare clear technical reports for management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Automotive Engineering
* Experience in mechanical component or system development
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Hands-on and pragmatic engineering mindset
* Interest in innovative mobility and drivetrain technologies
* Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
* Good communication and reporting skills
* Fluent in English, knowledge of French/Spanish is a strong plus.
