Overview
Our client, a prominent financial institution, is seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop a digital solution for financial sector supervision. The role involves building a modular platform that replaces legacy systems by integrating new features using modern cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software applications within a cross-functional project team.
Collaborate with business analysts to translate functional requirements into robust technical specifications.
Lead the migration of custom-developed solutions to Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
Conduct code reviews and optimize software performance to ensure high-quality delivery.
Own specific application domains, coordinating technical solutions from design through to production rollout.
Enforce architecture, security, and framework guidelines across the development lifecycle.
Qualifications
8+ years backend development with ASP.NET Core and C# .
5+ years frontend development with Angular and TypeScript .
5+ years experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms, including cloud-native projects and migration initiatives.
5+ years experience in architecture and design focusing on Cloud Solution Architecture, RESTful endpoints, and data modeling .
3+ years experience with data and integration using MS SQL Server .
You possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
You have experience with DevOps practices and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
You're proactive and capable of performing advanced code reviews and non-functional requirement optimization.
You are fluent in English with native or bilingual proficiency in Dutch or French .
Nice to Haves
Experience in functional analysis and workload estimation.
Knowledge of performance and query optimization.
