The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support our NATO Allied Special Operations Forces Command (SOFCOM) in Mons, Belgium. This position is contingent upon contract award and is located OCONUS.
Responsibilities:
Apply comprehensive knowledge of data science strategies, methodologies, processes, and tools.
Develop advanced data science algorithms, including predictive analysis, machine learning, and AI, for analytic solutions.
Support data analysis, integration, and fusion activities to generate operational pictures such as COP and CIP.
Lead the development and implementation of predictive models and machine learning algorithms for large datasets.
Design and deploy data-driven solutions to enhance decision-making.
Assess new data sources and techniques, ensuring data feed continuity and security.
Coordinate with system administrators for data feed configuration and troubleshooting.
Monitor and maintain data feeds and visualization tools related to theater missile warning activities.
Implement new statistical and mathematical methodologies as needed.
Evaluate emerging policies and technologies for data management and operational relevance.
Participate in meetings on new technologies and modernization efforts.
Present data insights clearly to stakeholders.
Collaborate on reporting and information sharing to ensure accuracy.
Mentor other data scientists and data managers.
Serve as a technical expert across multiple projects and potentially supervise staff.
Qualifications:
Required:
8-12 years of experience; BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience.
Secret clearance with the ability to retain.
Expertise in advanced data science and machine learning, preferably in military/defense contexts.
Strong knowledge of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and AI algorithms.
Experience in large-scale data science project design and deployment.
Proficiency with relevant tools, cloud platforms, and programming languages.
Ability to communicate technical findings effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications such as Security+ are required.
Desired:
Additional data science certifications.
Experience supporting NATO SOFCOM missions.
Experience managing complex IT and communication projects.

Pay Range:
$108,400 - $227,500 USD, influenced by various factors including location, experience, and certifications.
