Overview
As a member of the Quality leadership team in Verviers, you will work with departmental and cross‑functional peers to develop a pipeline of projects that improve processes and deliver value to the organization at a global scale. You will lead continuous improvement activities through the Lonza Business Management System (LBMS), including the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Responsibilities
* Drive harmonization of Quality processes across the Global Bioscience business unit and collaborate closely with the Bioscience operation strategy functions.
* Develop KPIs for Quality and support the creation of lower‑level KPIs to ensure alignment at various tier meetings.
* Drive LBMS within Quality, lead team development, and manage the execution of the Lean Maturity Assessment (LMA) roadmap.
* Collaborate with Operational Excellence and Site Project Management teams to use appropriate project management tools and ensure alignment and prioritization across functions.
* Partner with Engineering and Finance to develop compelling business cases for CAPEX requests and lead mid‑to‑large‑size projects.
* Oversee smaller departmental and cross‑functional projects and support the team in delivering them.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience related to Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
* Lean 6‑sigma certification required (green belt or higher).
* Experience in a matrix organization and international exposure (preferably US) is a plus.
* Fluent in both French (site language) and English (for international projects).
