To support fleet department, they are currently looking for a system & design integration engineer.As a System & Design Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for taking on complex engineering projects and contributing to the development of the next generation of ships and mission equipment.Below is a sample of your duties:You will take on multidisciplinary designs while diving into specialised engineering designs for the concept and basic design phase of new build and conversion projects of ships.Close collaboration with internal teams for seamless integration of systems and equipment across the fleet.Design and development of ships, hull structures, on-board systems and mission equipment.Perform detailed structural, hydrodynamic and stability analyses.Design of systems such as electrical power plants, automation systems and auxiliary installations.Ensuring that all designs comply with classification society standards and regulations.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define functional descriptions and technical specifications.Support the procurement process by validating compatibility with system designs.Introducing innovative, sustainable and cost-effective solutions to improve ship performance.Oversee system integration, from design to commissioning, to ensure seamless functionality.Working closely with design agencies, production teams and test facilities to validate concepts.Prepare clear technical documentation, risk assessments and design reports.ProfileMaster's degree in naval architecture, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or automation.Strong technical background and analytical skills.Practical experience in performing complex and multidisciplinary engineering scopes and system integration.Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced project environment.Excellent communicator and team player with a solution-oriented attitude.Responsible, action-driven and committed to technical excellence.You speak English very well.
