Scaling IT/OT/ICS Security Teams Across Europe
About the Role
We are supporting a specialised OT security consultancy working with industrial and critical infrastructure organisations to secure their Operational Technology (OT) environments.
As a Medior OT Security Consultant, you will work closely with experienced senior OT security consultants, giving you the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise, gain hands‑on consulting experience, and grow into a senior role over time.
You will combine consulting skills with practical OT security knowledge to assess risks, define security roadmaps, and support the implementation of OT security strategies in real‑world industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Work as part of a specialised OT security team led by senior consultants
* Support OT security assessments, including risk, gap, and maturity assessments
* Contribute to OT security roadmaps, translating findings into actionable improvement plans
* Support and execute the implementation of OT security strategies in customer environments
* Advise clients on OT security architectures, policies, and best practices
* Assist in designing and implementing security controls such as:
* Monitoring solutions
* Access management
* Align OT security solutions with relevant standards and frameworks (e.g. IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001)
* Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electronics, or Computer Science (IT)
* Fluent in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is an asset
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Analytical mindset with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented approach
* Comfortable producing technical and non‑technical documentation
* Minimum 4 years of consultancy experience, preferably in cybersecurity, IT, or infrastructure
* At least 2 years of hands‑on OT security experience
* Solid understanding of OT / ICS environments (SCADA, PLCs, DCS, industrial networks)
* Experience working with industrial or critical infrastructure organisations
* Familiarity with OT security standards and regulations (IEC 62443 required; NIS2 is a plus)
Nice to Have
* Experience with OT security tooling (asset discovery, network monitoring, anomaly detection)
* Knowledge of IT/OT convergence and industrial network security
* Experience in a professional services or consulting environment
