Key Responsibilities:
As an Insurance Policy Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Creating and managing insurance policies with precision and attention to detail.* Reviewing and initiating policy endorsements and certificates, ensuring seamless transactions.* Analyzing complex data, calculating technical transactions, including limits, premiums, and deductions.* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date policy documentation and correspondence on our e-filing platform.* Responding promptly to client inquiries, delivering professional and courteous service.* Participating actively in internal training and team meetings to foster knowledge sharing and collaborative growth.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will require:
* Professional experience as a policy technician/administrator or similar.* Excellent attention to detail, with a deep understanding of policy coverage and limits, premium calculations/installments, and pro-rata calculations for time on risk.* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.* Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively with team members to achieve shared goals.* Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with the ability to manage document completion and layout using these tools.
