As Segment Marketer, you are responsible for shaping and activating our marketing approach for strategic target groups, with a clear focus on the exterior professional wood oil market and architects. You understand what these audiences need, where the growth opportunities lie, and how we can reach and convince them through the right value propositions, content, campaigns, and lead generation initiatives.
You will be part of the marketing team and work together with a broader marketing team of around 20 professionals. In close collaboration with colleagues in product management, content, digital marketing, marketing automation, and sales, you will help shape how we go to market for these strategic segments.
What will you do?
· Segment Strategy & Market Understanding You build a strong understanding of the exterior professional wood oil market and architects: their needs, challenges, decision-making process, and the opportunities for Rubio Monocoat. You actively spend time in the field by visiting customers, professionals, architects, projects, partners, and events to gain real market insights and identify growth opportunities. You use these insights to help define where we should focus and how we should position ourselves.
· Value Proposition & Messaging You translate market and customer insights into clear value propositions, relevant messaging, and strong content angles. You help ensure that our communication is aligned with what matters most to these target groups.
· Campaigns & Lead Generation You brief and support targeted campaigns, content initiatives, and lead generation actions aimed at the assigned segments. You work closely with digital marketing and marketing automation colleagues to make sure campaigns, lead flows, and nurturing journeys are relevant and effective.
· Sales Alignment & Commercial Support You work together with sales to align on market needs, lead quality, and commercial opportunities. You also support the creation of cases, references, tools, and other assets that help strengthen our commercial approach.
· Performance & Optimization You monitor how campaigns, content, and segment actions perform, and use those insights to improve future initiatives. You help ensure a consistent and effective segment approach across markets and touchpoints.
Who are you?
* You have experience in segment marketing, B2B marketing, go-to-market, or audience-focused marketing roles.
* You are able to translate market insights into clear and relevant marketing actions.
* You are field-driven and enjoy being close to customers, projects, and the market.
* You know how to sharpen value propositions, messaging, and content themes for specific target groups.
* You understand how content, campaigns, and lead generation work together.
* You are comfortable working with professional audiences and more complex decision-making units.
* You are strong in alignment and collaboration across marketing and sales teams.
* You are analytically minded and know how to turn insights into optimizations.
* You work in a structured way and can manage multiple initiatives at the same time.
* Experience with B2B lead generation and lead nurturing is a strong asset.
* Experience working with architects, specifiers, or other specification-driven target groups is a plus.
* You are a strong communicator and are fluent in English.
* Knowledge of Dutch, French and/or German is a strong asset.
