IT System & Security EngineerOur client is a Belgian company active in the logistics sector, employing approximately 500 people. To support its ongoing digital evolution, we are looking for a strong Windows System Engineer who does not necessarily have extensive IT security experience but demonstrates a clear interest in developing further in this domain. Approximately 30–50% of the role will focus on security-related projects and initiatives.Your RoleAs part of the Infrastructure Team, you are responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the server and cloud infrastructure and IT security projects in a role of 50% operational and 50% Project-based work. The environment is primarily based on Microsoft technologies.Your responsibilities:Manage and optimize Windows Server environmentsProvide basic administration for a limited Linux environmentAdminister virtualization platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V)Support Microsoft 365 (Azure AD / Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online)Contribute to automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)Participate in infrastructure and improvement projectsEnsure stability, performance and proper documentationSecurity (30–50%):participate in various Security related projects (eg.
