Vulcain Engineering Belgium is looking for a High Voltage Engineer to join its consulting team.
ABOUT THE POSITION:
* You are deployed within the engineering department on electricity projects with a focus on high voltage
* As delegate for electrical works, you translate all electrical needs of the project into a design
* You work in a multidisciplinary team (HVAC, utilities, equipment, etc.) and agrees on the scope, planning, budget, techniques, etc. within this team
* You draw up specifications and select the most suitable party together with the purchasing department
* You closely follow the measurement statement with the contractors and regularly compare with the predefined budgets within the project team
* Together with the construction management team, you are responsible for defining the safety rules and following up the agreements made with the contractors
* You are responsible for the commissioning, qualification and delivery of the systems
ABOUT YOU:
* You have a Master’s degree in Electricity, Electro - Mechanics or Civil engineering
* You have at least 1 years' experience in high-voltage work or industrial electricity
* VCA for executives, and/or AutoCAD are a plus
* You are fluent in Dutch and you have a professional level of English (French is a plus)
