Our client, a primary supplier to multiple NATO frameworks, is seeking a qualified to support their database and BI infrastructure.brWork Location: Braine-l'Alleud, BelgiumbrOn-site Requirement: 100% on-sitebrMandatory: Candidates must already hold a valid NATO Secret, EU Secret, or an equivalent national clearance level or higherbrContract Start Date: 16 February 2026brContract End Date: 31 December 2026brContract Duration: Various start dates across 2026brThe Database Administrator will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, performance, availability, and lifecycle management of database platforms and associated Business Intelligence (BI) technologies in both on-premises and cloud environments.brKey responsibilitiesbrMonitoring database performance and implementing measures to ensure high availabilitybrDefining and executing backup, recovery, and upgrade strategiesbrManaging, patching, and upgrading BI technology stacks, including Oracle Analytics, OBIEE, ODI, WebLogic, Apache, and TomcatbrAutomating database administration tasks and maintaining lifecycle management of softwarebrSupporting both on-premises and cloud database environmentsbrSkills experiencebrStrong knowledge of Oracle, MySQL Server, and/or PostgreSQL, with hands-on experience in at least twobrUnderstanding of MySQL High Availability/Disaster Recovery solutionsbrExperience with Ords, Apache HTTP, and Tomcat administrationbrProficient in Linux/Unix and Microsoft Windows ServerbrKnowledge of advanced HA/DR architectures, server clustering, and virtual infrastructures
