We are looking for a Product Manager to drive the development and evolution of a standardized financial data and analytics product used by international customers. The product aggregates, processes, and analyzes financial data to provide actionable insights for professionals operating across multiple countries and regulatory environments.
What will you be doing?
As Product Manager, you will act as the bridge between business, technology, and end users, ensuring that customer needs, data quality, regulatory considerations, and product scalability are reflected in a clear product vision and an actionable backlog.
* Product Vision & Strategy
o Define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs.
o Translate strategic objectives into well‑prioritized epics, features, and user stories.
o Continuously evaluate market trends in financial analytics, data platforms, and regulatory requirements (e.g. accounting standards, reporting frameworks).
* Backlog Ownership & Agile Delivery
o Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring items are clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
o Collaborate closely with agile development teams during sprint planning, execution, reviews, and retrospectives.
o Make trade‑off decisions based on value, user impact, data quality, risk, and time‑to‑market.
* Stakeholder & Customer Management
o Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product functionality and priorities.
o Gather input from an international user base, balancing regional requirements with standardization of the core product.
o Work with sales, support, and customer success teams to incorporate customer feedback and usage insights.
* Data & Quality Focus
o Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all product components.
o Define acceptance criteria with a strong focus on data validation, analytics correctness, and performance.
o Collaborate with data engineers and analysts on data models, calculations, and reporting logic.
* Compliance & Governance Awareness
o Ensure product features align with relevant financial, data protection, and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR, auditability, data lineage).
o Support audit readiness through clear documentation and traceability of product decisions and data logic
What do you bring to the table?
* 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in a data‑driven or financial software environment.
* Solid understanding of financial data concepts, analytics, or reporting platforms.
* Hands‑on experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
* Strong ability to translate complex business and data requirements into actionable user stories.
* Experience working with international stakeholders and users.
* Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages FR/NL are a strong plus).
