Job Title : Business Analyst – Renewable Energy Systems

Experience: 8 to 10 years Language: English+ French, Good to have Dutch Mode : Hybrid (3 days/Week) Location: Brussels, Belgium Description As a Business Analyst for Renewable Energy Systems, your main activities will be: -Identify and evaluate business requirements for the asset management of renewable energy systems, integrating them into the electrical grid and power markets, and facilitating renewable energy trading. -Write functional requirements documents for the specific asset management systems and the specific contract management and trading systems needed for renewable energy systems. -Write and execute test cases that cover the same functional scope, ensuring correct implementation of the functional requirements as documented, and satisfaction of the corresponding business requirements. -Create functional documentation covering the delivered systems. It should cater to both users and support personnel, from low-level documentation ("How to" onboarding guides) to high-level documentation (end-to-end product and process-centric views). Hard Skills The following abilities are required: -Knowledge of energy sector & power asset management. An experience on renewable technology and PPA contracting would be a plus. -Knowledge of financial products pricing woudl be plus -Python and SQL skills with experience in software development, data science or related fields. -Familiarity with cloud tools (e.G., AWS) and relational databases. Experience in trading or operating assets in wholesale and/or ancillary service markets is a plus.
