As we accelerate our commercial growth, we are looking for a highly driven and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to strengthen our sales team.
Your Role
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in expanding Cebir’s customer base while also contributing to the growth of existing accounts.
This is a hybrid role combining:
* New business development (hunting)
* Strategic account conversations
* Upselling and value expansion
You will operate at a strategic level with clients, positioning Cebir as a trusted partner in their HR and talent decisions.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively identify, target, and convert new business opportunities across key segments (HR, recruitment, public sector, etc.)
* Build and manage your own pipeline through creative and entrepreneurial prospecting approaches
* Engage with senior stakeholders (HR Directors, Talent Leads, Procurement, etc.) and lead high-level commercial discussions
* Translate client needs into tailored solutions using Cebir’s assessment offering
* Drive upsell opportunities within existing clients by identifying growth potential and new use cases
* Contribute to expansion into new markets, segments, and use cases
* Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Research, and Marketing to ensure a seamless client experience
* Maintain strong discipline in CRM usage, pipeline management, and forecasting
Your Profile
* Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, HR tech, or recruitment solutions
* Strong hunter mentality, with the ability to open new doors and build business from scratch
* Ability to operate at a strategic level with senior stakeholders
* Entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, creative, and ownership-driven
* Strong commercial acumen combined with a consultative sales approach
* Comfortable navigating both new business and account development
Language Skills
* Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written)
* Ability to operate professionally in all three languages is essential
Nice to Have
* Existing network within the HR, recruitment, or SaaS ecosystem
* Experience selling assessment tools, HR solutions, or similar products
* Experience with longer and more complex sales cycles
