For our division Unilin Flooring, we are looking for a Marketing Lead Belux.
In this role, you will drive and define the marketing strategy for the Belux region to enhance brand equity, create value-driven initiatives, and support sustainable business growth. You will serve as the regional marketing authority—shaping local media, PR, influencer and content strategies while ensuring alignment with the global & regional STRAP plan. Your leadership will ensure that marketing activities translate into measurable ROI and strong brand equity. You will report to the Marketing Director Western & Southern Europe.
What does the role entail exactly?
1. Strategic development & execution: Develop and implement the marketing strategy for the Belux region, contributing to the STRAP (regional business) plan. Build and execute brand-building initiatives through local digital and ATL media, TV partnerships, PR, and influencer strategies. Define and drive the local content strategy and lead generation activities.
2. Operational execution & project management: Take charge of the practical execution of marketing initiatives, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery. Manage the ordering, distribution, and stock of marketing materials (POS, brochures, samples). Organize and coordinate trade fairs and events, including briefing agencies, managing artwork creation, and ensuring flawless execution. Provide hands-on support to the sales team with marketing collateral, presentations, and campaign materials. Act as the go-to person for daily marketing operations, ensuring an efficient workflow between teams and external partners. Ensure brand consistency by acting as the regional brand guardian. Oversee the creation and development of marketing support materials across both online (website, social media) and offline channels (brochures, flyers).
3. Market insight & collaboration: Collaborate closely with sales and customers to gain a deep understanding of the flooring market (including routes to market, customer segments, and competition). Monitor local marketing performance and existing initiatives, seeking creative opportunities and alternatives.
4. Budget & performance management: Manage the assigned marketing budget to ensure maximum ROI. Establish clear, measurable KPIs linked to marketing activities and monitor their impact on sales and brand performance.
5. People management & best practices sharing: Coach and mentor the local Marketing Coordinator to support their professional development. Facilitate the sharing of best practices among countries to strengthen overall marketing execution.
Who are you?
* You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in media, PR, and influencer marketing—preferably in a B2B2C environment.
* You demonstrate experience in budget management, stakeholder management, and setting/monitoring clear objectives and KPIs.
* You have strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across remote and cross-functional teams.
* You are a people manager with strong leadership skills and a customer-centric mindset.
* You are able to possess a helicopter view with the ability to simplify and focus on key objectives.
* Furthermore, you have a hands-on, pragmatic, entrepreneurial, and solution-oriented approach with strong capability in managing deadlines and driving the implementation of plans.
* You are fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus. #LI-LV3
