As an it support engineer, you will be part of the Specialty Rental Solutions team, focusing on applications within domains such as Rental Sales & Marketing, Finance, Product Rental and Operations. You will report to the Team Manager Specialty Rental Solutions in the Power Technique IT team. This position is based in our headquarters and can be performed in a hybrid setup.
In this role, the it support engineer ensures the reliable and efficient operation of applications by resolving incidents, analysing root causes and implementing improvements to avoid recurring issues. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT colleagues and external partners. Your work will range from handling user requests to contributing to process optimization and minor implementation projects. Depending on your expertise, you may also take part in technical configuration or small-scale development tasks.
With your structured and proactive approach, you will ensure clear documentation, transparent reporting and effective knowledge sharing within the team. By suggesting and driving improvements, you help reduce manual support and strengthen the stability of our applications.

1. Initial experience in IT support, application management or software development
2. Analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset
3. Knowledge of tools such as ServiceNow, Jira or Azure DevOps
4. Affinity with cloud platforms and business applications
5. Technical knowledge of application frameworks, SQL and cloud environments
6. Familiarity with ITIL or similar service management frameworks is an asset
