A well-established Belgian manufacturer of exterior joinery is seeking motivated Maintenance Technicians to ensure their production lines operate efficiently and reliably. Your Role As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining continuity, safety, and efficiency in the production environment. Your responsibilities include: ✔️ Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues ✔️ Performing preventive maintenance on high-tech production equipment ✔️ Collaborating with internal teams and external service providers ✔️ Identifying opportunities for improvements and contributing to process optimization ✔️ Following structured maintenance schedules (daily, weekly, monthly)
Wie ben jij? m/v/x
1. Hands-on mentality and a proactive approach.
2. Knowledge of mechanics, electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics.
3. Experience in production line maintenance is required, preferably in a similar industry.
4. Basic knowledge of automation (Siemens S5, S7, TIA Portal) is an asset.
5. Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
6. Passion for technology and continuous learning.
7. Safety-conscious and precise in execution.
8. Flexible and willing to work in shifts (early and late shifts).
9. Team player with excellent communication skills.
10. Willing to participate in an on-call system after the training period.
Vakkennis: Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Talenkennis: Dutch or English fluency required
Wat bieden wij jou?
11. Gross salary: €20.76/hour
12. Shift allowance: Early shift: +€1.16/hour, Late shift: +€2.18/hour
13. These bonuses are paid on top of your regular hourly wage.
14. You will receive €7.40 per worked day in electronic meal vouchers.
