Description
* You provide assistance in driving growth across LAI services by supporting the planning, development, and execution of Business Development (BD) strategies, focusing on global and cross-office initiatives;
* You collaborate with international BD teams to ensure that LAI and the local offices in Brussels, Germany, and Luxembourg stay integrated with global networks and strategic aims;
* You serve as a BD contact point alongside a BD Manager for relevant partners and fee earners in Brussels, Germany, and Luxembourg, offering daily local BD support while maintaining consistency with global campaigns and initiatives;
* You ensure alignment between LAI and client targeting strategies with the overall BD growth objectives and firm strategy;
* You participate in fostering and maintaining relationships across the broader Business Development & Marketing (BDM) function, including Clients & Sectors teams, to drive growth in priority sectors and market opportunities, as well as create compelling LAI-led go-to-market campaigns to engage target clients;
* You support the execution of focused growth plans for LAI, sectors, and clients, facilitating cross-selling opportunities within global product teams;
* You provide timely and high-quality input to win strategies and assist in crafting market-leading pitch and panel submissions;
* You leverage specialized knowledge to support the use of data-driven insights for horizon scanning, identifying opportunities, managing pipelines, and client targeting/development for LAI services within the global network and designated local markets;
* You conduct market analysis and monitor external trends to aid in shaping BD initiatives and objectives;
* You assist in the effective use of MarTech and data infrastructure to deliver proactive, targeted insights for LAI;
* You ensure alignment with global processes and optimize the use of the firm’s shared services.
Your profile
* Has a background in business development focused on services related to litigation, arbitration, and investigations, preferably within the legal sector;
* Fluent in english, with french or dutch;
* Possesses a solid understanding of dispute resolution, litigation procedures, arbitration mechanisms, and regulatory inquiry processes;
* Demonstrates experience in formulating and executing business development strategies;
* Shows proficiency in working collaboratively across diverse global teams and functions;
* Has a track record of assisting in the creation of pitch materials and client proposals;
* Exhibits strong analytical abilities, capable of interpreting market trends and identifying business opportunities;
* Is familiar with strategies for cross-selling in the realm of professional services;
* Has experience utilizing marketing technologies and data analytics tools to gain business development insights;
* Communicates effectively and has the ability to cultivate relationships with a variety of stakeholders;
* Is knowledgeable about global professional services operations and shared service frameworks.
