We are working with a leading multinational manufacturing and services group who are embarking on a post–go-live SAP HR & Payroll support and optimization programme across the EMEA region.
They require a Freelance Senior SAP HR / SuccessFactors / Payroll Consultant to join them on a 6–12 month engagement.
This role will focus on stabilizing and enhancing SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Time, and Payroll integration processes following a full-scale HR digital transformation and go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide L2/L3 functional support across SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Time, Compensation, PMGM) and SAP HCM Payroll
• Diagnose and resolve payroll, time evaluation, and data integration issues across multiple EMEA entities
• Configure fixes and enhancements in Employee Central and Payroll schemas/rules (PCRs, wage types, and schemas)
• Maintain and optimize integrations via SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) to internal and third-party systems
• Ensure HR and Payroll compliance with local and EU legal requirements
• Prepare functional specifications for custom developments, reports, and interface improvements
• Conduct testing, validation, and deployment of enhancements and SAP notes
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement long-term stabilization measures
• Deliver user training, documentation, and continuous improvement recommendations
• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and Integration teams to align business and system requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 10+ years of SAP HR consulting experience, including deep expertise in SuccessFactors and SAP HCM Payroll
• Proven experience with post–go-live support, stabilization, and optimization projects
• Strong configuration knowledge of Employee Central, Time, and Payroll schemas/rules
• Proficiency with SAP CPI and interface monitoring between SuccessFactors and Payroll
• Solid understanding of hire-to-retire (H2R) and time-to-pay processes in multinational contexts
• Experience supporting HR and Payroll operations across multiple EMEA countries
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or Jira ticketing systems and SAP Solution Manager Test Suite
• Fluent in English; additional European languages (Dutch, French, or German) are a plus
