We are looking for an Executive Remuneration Lead who is strategic, detail-oriented, and collaborative to join us in our HR – Reward team, based in our headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
About the role
You will be working in a team that shapes and delivers UCB’s executive compensation strategy globally. This role combines strategic design with hands-on execution, ensuring our executive pay practices are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our business goals.
Who you’ll work with
You will be working in a team that collaborates closely with the Head of Reward, HR, Finance, Legal, Corporate Secretary, and Investor Relations. You’ll also engage with external advisors and stakeholders, including proxy advisors and institutional investors.
What you’ll do
1. Lead the design and benchmarking of executive and Board remuneration policies.
2. Oversee implementation of compensation processes including salary, incentives, and shareholding compliance.
3. Ensure regulatory compliance and governance across all executive pay practices.
4. Manage executive remuneration disclosures and shareholding meeting preparation.
5. Develop clear communication materials for executives and Board members.
6. Support the Head of Reward in engagements with investors and the Remuneration Committee.
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
7. 5+ years of experience in executive remuneration or related reward functions.
8. Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
9. Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
10. Familiarity with executive remuneration regulations and governance frameworks.
11. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
12. Experience in KPI design, benchmarking, and annual reporting processes.
