I'm currently working with a large company specialised in chemical manufacturing, primarily fertilisers, who are looking for an engineer with an automation background to take responsibility for the production plant DCS system.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain and troubleshoot Honeywell DCS systems (Experion) across chemical production lines.
* Develop, modify, and implement DCS logic and graphics to improve plant performance and process safety.
* Participate in capital projects, including DCS specification, design reviews & FAT/SAT Testing.
* Support the integration of new equipment and processes into existing control systems.
* Create and maintain system documentation, change management records, and operation manuals.
* Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Instrumentation, or related field.
* A first experience in automation engineering, experience directly with DCS is not required for this but motivation to learn is.
* Experience with DCS platforms such as Emerson DeltaV, or Honeywell Experion is a significant plus.
