Senior Oracle EPM Analyst
Purpose
bpost is looking for a Senior Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Analyst to join the ICT Finance team. The Senior Oracle EPM Analyst will play a key role in implementing and optimizing the Oracle EPM solution.
This position involves providing expertise in the implementation and optimization of Oracle EPM solution as well as configuring and maintaining it. The resource will work closely with the finance department to understand their requirements and develop solutions that align with their goals.
Your mission
o System Implementation and Integration:
oKey role in the implementation and integration of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions within the organization
oCollaborate with the finance department and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that align with business objectives
oCollaborate with vendors and partners
o Technical Expertise:
oServe as a subject matter expert in Oracle EPM, providing insights and guidance on best practices
oConfigure and maintain Oracle EPM applications to meet business needs
o Data Management and Reporting:
oDesign and develop financial models, reports and dashboards to support business planning and decision-making processes
oEnsure data accuracy and integrity within the EPM system, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data flows
o User Training and Support:
oConduct training sessions for end-users to maximize their utilization of Oracle EPM tools
oProvide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
oCollaborate with vendor to troubleshoot issues
o Performance Optimization:
oMonitor and enhance the performance of Oracle EPM applications, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements
oStay informed about updates and new features in Oracle EPM technologies and assess their relevance to the organization
Your profile
oMaster degree
o5 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Oracle EPM solutions
oBroad understanding of all EPM cloud products
oKnowledge of EDMCS, EPBCS, FCCS and ARCS modules
oKnowledge of EPM Automate
oKnowledge of SmartView
oKnowledge of Data Management/Data Exchange
oKnowledge of Essbase calculation scripting;
oExperience in building Reports, Dashboards, Infolets, and Smartview templates
oKnowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud is a plus
oKnowledge of Accounting and Financial concepts
oFunctional understanding of the financial close and consolidation process, including currency translation, eliminations, and intercompany trading, adjusting journal entries and reconciliations
oFunctional understanding of the planning and budgeting process
oStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
oExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal
oFluent in English and French or Dutch
oTeam player.
