As Head of IT for Televic Rail you are end-to-end -responsible for the IT landscape, applications and services that support our Rail business worldwide.
What will you be doing in this role?
* IT Strategy & Leadership: Translate business needs into a pragmatic IT strategy and roadmap, ensure stable operations and successful delivery of key projects, while ensuring scalability and innovation.
* Cloud ERP Migration: Lead the transition to a modern, cloud-based ERP platform, ensuring seamless migration from / integration with existing systems and minimal disruption to operations.
* Application Landscape Ownership: Own and manage the complete application landscape for Televic Rail (ERP, production and planning tools, engineering/PLM-related systems, data lake, collaboration tools). Shape vision of “future landscape” and drive simplification and standardization wherever possible.
* AI & Data-Driven Innovation: Drive adoption of AI technologies across business processes to improve efficiency, predictive maintenance, and data analytics capabilities.
* Infrastructure & Systems Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, reliable and standardized IT infrastructure and enterprise systems across global operations.
* Cybersecurity & Compliance: Ensure robust cybersecurity architecture and measures, in compliance within the internal group’s governance policies and relevant external regulations (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001) and handle incidence-response.
* Team Leadership & Development: Build and mentor a high-performing IT team distributed across Belgium, Bulgaria, and Germany, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation; maintain a structured way of working in IT: demand intake, prioritization, change management, communication and documentation.
* Vendor & Budget Management: Manage IT budgets, negotiate with technology vendors, and ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Operations, Finance, and other departments to deliver more automated and efficient processes, while ensuring reporting needs are fully met and improved.
How You Can Add Value To Our Team
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
* Minimum 5 years in IT leadership roles, preferably in a manufacturing, engineering, and/or project-business environment.
* Proven track record of leading ERP migrations to cloud-based platforms (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
* Hands-on experience with AI-driven solutions and data analytics implementation.
Technical Expertise:
* Sound knowledge of enterprise applications (ERP, PLM, collaboration tools) and IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud, Microsoft 365).
* Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards (GDPR, ISO27001).
Leadership Skills:
* Ability to attract talent and lead a diverse team distributed across multiple locations and ability to manage complex projects across multiple geographies.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to align IT initiatives with business goals and process owners.
Strategic Mindset:
* Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation, process automation, and system simplification / standardization.
