As the Global Head of Legal, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening the legal, compliance, and risk management framework of our organization.
Reporting directly to the Executive Committee, you will lead global legal and compliance activities, oversee risk management processes, and ensure TPF’s operations align with regulatory requirements and international best practices.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement global legal, compliance, and risk management policies to ensure effective governance and regulatory adherence.
• Assume direct responsibility for all legal matters pertaining to corporate affairs at the Headquarter.
• Provide comprehensive legal support for activities in Belgium, particularly regarding public procurement, contractual and litigation matters.
• Deliver expert legal counsel on corporate issues, contractual arrangements, governance frameworks, and strategic initiatives.
• Support and advise on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities.
• Manage relationships with external legal advisors, authorities, and regulatory bodies.
• Promote a company-wide culture of ethics, integrity, risk awareness, and accountability.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Law; additional legal specialization is a strong plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate affairs, with proven involvement in legal advisory, governance, and regulatory topics.
• Strong understanding of corporate legal issues, governance principles, and compliance frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of public procurement law in Belgium.
• Good understanding of financial and accounting basics, with the ability to integrate legal and financial insights.
• Strong critical thinking and hands-on problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to conceive and implement new processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a data-driven mindset.
• Fluency in English and French is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft clear legal documents and present complex concepts to senior management.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including strategic thinking, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
