Role: Senior Quality Engineer
Location: West Flanders
🔍 About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards while driving continuous improvement across operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance performance, ensure compliance, and deliver high-quality results to customers.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems and procedures in line with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
* Conduct root cause analysis and lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
* Monitor production and operational processes to ensure compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
* Support supplier quality management, including qualification, audits, and performance evaluation.
* Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
* Analyze quality data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
* Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and audit records.
* Ensure product traceability and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
* 2+years of experience in a quality engineering or similar role (industry experience preferred).
* Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 (additional standards are a plus).
* Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and tools such as SAP is an advantage.
