It's more than a job As SHE Specialist, you play a key role in safeguarding safety, health and environmental compliance at the Liège site. You support the local QSHE organization in implementing, maintaining and continuously improving SHE standards, ensuring compliance with legal, internal and customer requirements while fostering a strong safety culture across the site. ? In this role, you support and advise site management and operational teams on all SHE-related matters. You act as the local subject matter expert for Safety, Health, Environment, Security and Dangerous Goods, translating regulations and standards into practical site-level processes. You work closely with operations, facility management and QSHE stakeholders to ensure effective implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of SHE systems at out site. How you create impact Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of SHE processes, standards and culture across the site. Monitor and ensure compliance with legal requirements, KN standards and customer expectations, including SHE KPIs, reporting and performance measurement. Conduct and coordinate risk assessments, site inspections, internal and external audits, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Act as focal point for incident and accident investigations, ensuring proper analysis, reporting and prevention of recurrence. Coordinate and monitor SHE-related training programs, including health & safety, hazardous materials, fire protection and emergency preparedness. Maintain and update SHE documentation, policies, procedures and registers in line with applicable legislation and standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps, proposing improvements and supporting implementation of SHE-related actions. Act as liaison with authorities, certification bodies, external prevention services and other stakeholders for SHE-related topics. What we would like you to bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience, combined with Prevention Advisor Level II certification and proven experience in a SHE or prevention role. Solid knowledge of health & safety legislation, risk assessments, audits and SHE management systems, ideally in industrial or pharmaceutical environments. Strong communication, coaching and training skills, with the ability to engage and influence operational teams. Hands-on, independent and solution-oriented mindset, supported by strong analytical and organizational skills. Fluency in French is mandatory; good command of English is required and Dutch is a plus.
