Business Developer (Transport & Logistics)
The Role
For a growing and well-established Belgian transport company, we are looking for a commercially driven professional with international ambition. The company specializes in B2B road transport and distribution of parcels and palletized goods, with its own network in the Benelux and trusted partners across Europe.
Core activities include groupage (consolidated transport) and tailored freight solutions.
In this position, you will play a key role in the company’s international expansion and work closely with top management.
Your Mission
• Actively develop an international export client portfolio
• Prospect and acquire new B2B customers
• Further develop and manage existing client relationships
• Ensure follow-up, customer loyalty and satisfaction
• Maintain and strengthen commercial relationships with international partners
• Act as a commercial point of contact within a European network
Your Profile
• Master’s degree and/or minimum 5 years of relevant experience in road transport, groupage or freight forwarding
• Comfortable in an autonomous commercial role with clear objectives
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Structured, precise and results-oriented
• Independent while maintaining a strong team-oriented mindset
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
