Are you a driven and entrepreneurial professionalready to make your mark in a high-potential market? M+A Matting, aglobal leader in innovative floor mat solutions, is looking for aBusiness Development Manager to spearhead our expansion in the DACHregion (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
As partof our dynamic and international sales team, you will play apivotal role in unlocking new business, managing key accounts, anddriving growth in various market segments such as online resellers,hygiene services, cleaning companies, and industrial clients. Thisis a newly created role with a clear strategic focus and long-termvision.
Your responsibilities
* Business Development: Proactively identify anddevelop new sales opportunities within the DACH region, with astrong focus on hunting and market development.
* Account Management: Inherit and grow a small butpromising client portfolio, ensuring high customer satisfaction andcontinuity.
* Market Expansion: Strengthen andexpand our presence across the region by building partnerships withdistributors, online resellers, laundries, and more.
* Sales Strategy Execution: Implement 30-60-90 day planswith clear goals on activities and market coverage (notbonus-driven, but focused on impact and activity).
* Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with ourSales Director and a small, agile team of 5 people to ensurealignment and follow-up.
Functie-eisen
* Based in Belgium, ideally within commuting distance ofRonse (office presence is key).
* Native-levelGerman and fluent English (written and spoken).
* Bachelor-level thinking, a degree is notessential.
* Strong entrepreneurial mindset:self-motivated, eager to build from scratch, comfortable with coldcalling and digital outreach.
* 2 to 5 years ofexperience in B2B environments (sales, business development,account management) ideally in industrial, manufacturing, orrelated sectors.
* You’re hungry, humble, andsmart – you act with urgency, take initiative, and thrive in afast-paced, customer-driven environment.
* Willingness to travel up to 30% in the DACHregion.
