About the Job
We are seeking an experienced project site operations manager to oversee our overseas sites. As a hands-on foreman, you will offer practical support in assembly, welding, and preservation. You will be responsible for managing and executing team tasks, ensuring adherence to specific behavior and safety protocols. You will keep the site manager updated on project progress, coordinate tasks according to the schedule and quality standards, and foster productivity.
You will perform duties in compliance with quality and safety regulations, identify issues and risks, and report them to the site manager. You will work flexibly and can be assigned to different sites as needed. In the site manager's absence, you will have first-line decision-making authority for safety and quality.
You will handle daily coordination and consultations with the site manager to ensure optimal project progress. You will monitor the progress of work, focusing on quality, safety, order, and cleanliness. You must hold a diploma within a technical field and have leadership experience in assembly or construction projects.
You will be capable of conducting site inspections and delivering safety briefings. You will place a high priority on safety, quality, and the environment and be skilled in maintaining these standards. Certifications such as VCA-VOL, First Aid, Scaffolding Inspector, Aerial Work Platform Operator, and Telehandler Operator are advantageous.
You possess strong people skills, communicate effectively to solve problems, and enjoy working as part of a team. You are familiar with Office 365 and have experience with planning and measurement systems. You are committed to quality, order, cleanliness, safety, and productivity.
