Logistics Officer BeNeLux
We are seeking a skilled Logistics Officer to join our team in Mechelen, Belgium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and customer service, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics and customer service activities for our BeNeLux customers. This includes ensuring the complete order-to-invoice process, acting as first point of contact for the local Logistics Service Provider, and forecasting product volume per SKU in IBP.
Key responsibilities include monitoring stock levels and overseeing local batch releases from Orion's export warehouse in Finland, performing SAP-related tasks such as posting goods receipts, entering and managing customer orders, and creating credit notes for returns and price corrections.
The Logistics Officer will also be responsible for maintaining a matrix of financial contacts for effective dunning communication, reviewing and qualifying local suppliers and customers regularly, and supporting in case of product recalls and Product Defect Notifications.
To succeed in this role, you will need commercial education and/or degree in Business Administration, minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, hands-on experience with ERP systems, especially SAP R/3 or S4 HANA, and excellent Excel skills. You will also need to be fluent in Dutch, French, and English, and have a strong identification with Orion's values and strategic goals.
