How can you convince us?
We are looking for a driven Database Expert with strong communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset. You know how to translate complex database challenges into sustainable solutions, and can communicate this clearly to other stakeholders.
As a Database Expert at Cipal Schaubroeck, you will play a key role in connecting development teams to design efficient and scalable database structures. You are responsible for installing, configuring, and administering database and will work closely with functional analysts, developers and architects to ensure that our database solutions function optimally and comply with the latest technological and security standards. You are responsible for the entire database lifecycle, from design and implementation to maintenance. You focus on improving Performance by the use of monitoring and tuning tools and techniques to optimize database performance, reduce query times, and improve overall system efficiency.
What specifically are we looking for?
* Experience: You have a master's degree or a bachelor's degree with a deep knowledge of database technologies (RDBMS, NoSQL), SQL, and database design principles.
* Technical expertise: You have several years (5) of experience with and a strong knowledge of specific database systems, (in order of importance): MariaDB, Oracle, Informix, MongoDB, SQL Server
* Problem-Solving Skills: You have the ability to diagnose and resolve complex database issues.
* Communication Skills: You communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
