HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE UP TO
In the role of Insurance Specialist, you are responsible for managing WDP’s full European insurance portfolio. You report to the Group Head of Property Management and work closely with the CFO.
* You are responsible for the day-to-day management of the insurance portfolio (real estate, buildings, energy, liability, project developments, environmental risks, etc.).
* You work closely with the external insurance broker and act as the central point of contact and knowledge hub for all internal stakeholders.
* You ensure robust processes regarding adequate insurance coverage, claims management, and regular new contractual topics. You develop and structure procedures and guidelines related to insurance to ensure a uniform approach across existing and new countries.
* You ensure accurate administrative and financial follow-up: budgeting, premium allocation, indexations, and invoice approval.
* You take the lead in further optimizing the insurance policy through projects and working groups, with a focus on efficiency, coverage, and cost control.
* You develop insurance training sessions and awareness initiatives for new employees and international teams and – depending on priorities and available capacity – may provide additional support to the operational shared services team.
HERE'S YOUR PROFILE
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in finance, real estate, insurance, economics, or a related field.
* Several years of relevant experience in insurance management.
* Strong technical knowledge of real estate insurance is required.
* You work accurately and in a structured manner, with attention to detail and deadlines.
* You interact smoothly with brokers, insurers, property managers, finance teams, clients, and colleagues.
* You are fluent in Dutch and can also express yourself confidently in French and English.
* You are communicative, dynamic, and feel comfortable in a fast-growing environment.
