Designer Service High Voltage (HV) – Dutch & French – ALTEN Belgium
The Role
As a Designer Service High Voltage (HV), you will strengthen our team and work on the development, expansion, and renovation of electricity transmission networks.
Your main responsibilities:
* Conducting feasibility studies and preliminary studies in collaboration with the Project Leader
* Preparing permit drawings to support permit applications
* Developing execution drawings (layout plans, equipment plans, and steel structure plans)
* Preparing related documents: drawing lists, clamp lists, steel structure lists
* Providing ad-hoc support to the Project Leader during execution works
* Proactively problem-solving and contributing within your area of expertise
Depending on your experience, these tasks will be carried out autonomously or under guidance. After a comprehensive training period, there will be the possibility to telework up to three days per week.
Your Profile
* Bachelor’s degree or A2 diploma (electromechanics, electrical engineering, energy, or electricity)
* At least basic knowledge of electricity
* Knowledge of MS Office and experience with CAD software (3D)
* Strong, assertive communicator who is customer-oriented, resourceful, and values teamwork
* Excellent command of French, with good knowledge of Dutch; willingness to further develop both languages
* Bilingualism is a strong asset
