The project: Our client in the banking sector, is seeking an experienced
Logging and Monitoring Production Engineer
to strengthen their team.
Function description: You will implement and configure monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Dynatrace, IBM Netcool, ELK, Sysdig) for applications, ensuring alignment with EVM (Event Management) and INC (Incident Management) processes. You will collaborate with the squad and external partners (ITG, BP²I) to integrate, customize, and optimize logging/monitoring tools to meet internal client needs. You will act as the go-to expert for ITG and BP²I, providing guidance on best practices and troubleshooting complex issues. You will develop scripts and automation (PowerShell, API integrations) to streamline monitoring workflows and improve efficiency. You will ensure compliance with group standards and contribute to defining guidelines for new solutions in IT Cloud and dMZR environments. You will explore and evaluate emerging technologies, driving innovation in our monitoring and logging ecosystem.
Is this you? Active knowledge of at least one local language + passive knowledge of the other language Fluent in English Hands-on experience with: Monitoring/Logging Tools: Dynatrace, IBM Netcool Operation Insights, Sysdig, ELK (Log as a Service), IBM Cloud Logs. Scripting/Automation: PowerShell, API integrations. Cloud/Infrastructure: IT Cloud, IBM dMZR As Code (nice-to-have). Processes: EVM (Event Management), INC (Incident Management), ITIL/ITSM (nice-to-have). You are eager to learn and adapt to new tools and bank-specific solutions. Soft skills: Excellent analysis skills Team spirit Efficient communication skills Ambitious towards the targets of his/her squad Agile values: focussed, committed, open, respectful, courageous Promote continuous improvement (market evolutions, working methods, …) to improve delivery speed of software and hardware, and to improve operational quality
