Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate grid studies between the grid operator and the developer/investor across Europe.
* Identify and manage technical requirements for grid supporting services and their impact on plant design.
* Perform grid studies in Digsilent Powerfactory.
* Continuously look for ways to optimize works and processes.
* Closely follow up and deeply learn technical requirements of the energy market regarding ancillary services, imbalance, arbitrage, etc. to create proper designs for given projects.
* Report to Operations Director in Belgium.
Requirements:
* Minimum 6 years of experience in similar functions in distribution or transmission networks.
* Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent by experience.
* Deep interest and passion in renewable energy projects connected to medium- and high-voltage grids.
* Excellent knowledge of European electrical codes & standards as well as their implementation practices.
* In-depth knowledge of RfG NC EU 2016/631 is a must.
* Proven experience with Type D simulations.
* Good understanding of electrical behavior of intermittent production sources like wind, solar, and/or other renewable sources.
* Knowledge of software and controls for grid operation & control.
* Excellent working experience with PowerFactory software.
* Fluency in English.
