We currently have a vacancy for an Application Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site. Tasks: Architecture and design of information systems; Agentic AI development (such as Amazon Kiro); Design, implementation and maintenance of the database layer of multi-tiers applications; Design, implementation and maintenance of the front-end layer of web applications; Data analysis, data modelling as well as physical database design; Development and maintenance of database stored procedures; Database configuration and optimization; Execution of database test programs; Definition and integration of database components; Assistance with deployment and configuration of the Database. Requirements University degree in IT, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT; Experience in web technologies, application design and programming languages; Experience with AGILE methodologies’ principles and practices; Experience with JAVA Programming Language (11/17/21); Experience with Hibernate framework and JPA; Experience with Spring Boot (REST APIs, Security); Experience with Angular (15 or higher); Experience with HTML and CSS; Experience with JEE framework and Enterprise Architecture; Experience with Oracle DBMS (SQL, PL/SQL, Query Optimization, Indexing and Oracle text); Experience with Gitlab and/or Atlassian suite (Bitbucket, Bamboo) and Maven; In-depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture; In depth knowledge of software modelling and database modelling tools; Good knowledge of business process analysis; Good knowledge of application development environments/tools; Knowledge of interoperability technologies (e.g. REST/SOAP web services, message oriented middleware, service oriented bus); Knowledge of Justice and/or Consumers related public IT systems; Basic knowledge of Justice, Consumers, Migration or Home Affairs EU policies objectives; Professional experience in a legal organisation or department will be considered an asset; Familiarity with SonarQube, Kubernetes and CaaS will be considered an asset; Excellent command of the English language.
