About the Role
We are actively hiring an End User Computing (EUC) L1 Support Engineer / Desktop Support Engineer / IT Support Specialist for an onsite enterprise IT support engagement in Brussels, Belgium .
This is a Backfill Support Assignment, where the engineer will provide onsite IT support coverage during planned or unplanned absence of the full-time onsite engineer (leave, vacation, sickness, or off days).
The selected consultant will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted end-user IT operations and maintaining enterprise support standards during coverage periods.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals experienced in desktop support, deskside support, EUC operations, and enterprise IT environments .
Key Responsibilities
* Provide onsite desktop and end-user technical support in a corporate environment
* Act as backfill coverage for the permanent onsite engineer during absence periods
* Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network-related issues
* Support laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, docking stations, and mobile devices
* Perform device setup, installation, imaging, configuration, and troubleshooting
* Manage incidents and service requests within defined SLA timelines
* Support Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environments
* Handle password resets, account unlocks, and basic Active Directory administration tasks
* Coordinate with internal IT teams and escalation groups when required
* Maintain accurate ticket updates, asset records, and technical documentation
* Deliver high-quality customer-focused IT support to enterprise users
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience in:
* EUC L1 Support
* Desktop Support
* IT Support
* Deskside Support
* Strong knowledge of:
* Microsoft Windows 10/11
* Microsoft 365
* Basic understanding of:
* Active Directory
* Networking fundamentals
* Enterprise IT infrastructure
* Experience with hardware troubleshooting and peripheral support
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently in an onsite enterprise environment
* Professional attitude with strong customer-service orientation
* English communication skills required (French or Dutch is an advantage)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience working in enterprise or managed IT services environments
* Familiarity with ticketing tools such as:
* ServiceNow
* Jira
* Remedy
* Understanding of ITIL-based support processes
* Relevant certifications are a plus:
