Financial Controller (m/f/d)
Position Summary
The Financial Controller will be responsible for the financial activities of the company in Belgium, including accounting, tax compliance, financial planning & analysis (FP&A). This hands-on role requires a balance of technical expertise and operational execution to support business objectives
Your Tasks:
1. Accounting & Tax Compliance
* Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to local standards.
* Manage relationships with external consultants for tax filings, audits, and statutory compliance.
* Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and tax documentation.
* Act as the primary liaison for external auditors, tax advisors, and external accountants.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
* Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
* Deliver clear, data-driven financial insights and reporting for stakeholders
* Track and analyze key operational and financial KPIs.
* Support strategic initiatives.
3. Treasury Management
* Assist in managing cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and potential funding needs.
Your Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred
* Experience in FP&A or strategic finance, including in a leadership role
* Strong knowledge of financial consolidation tools (e.g., LucaNet)
* Proven track record in reporting automation and optimization of financial systems
* Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills
* Strong business acumen and the ability to work with C-level stakeholders
* Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-oriented mindset
* Knowledge of the aviation industry, GSE rental, or related sectors is a plus
* Proficient in German and English, both verbal and written
